2022 brought us butter boards, and now 2023 is bringing us butter candles...
Instagram is the perfect place to discover something new! While scrolling through my feed, I came across a post from Cabot Creamery about butter candles. Of course, I had to do some more investigating into this wild concept.
It is exactly what it sounds like: a candle made out of butter. A wick is inserted into a block of butter and when it is lit, the butter slowly melts, creating a perfectly dippable texture. As wild as the idea is, it actually makes a lot of sense to serve butter in this way!
