Recipe from Tasty

Ingredients

for 5 rolls

  • 1 (8-ounce) block feta cheese

  • 10 sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed

  • ⅓ cup olive oil

  • hot honey, for garnish

  • ¼ cup finely diced pistachios, for garnish

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (198°C).

  2. Cut the feta block into 5 equal-sized rectangles, about ¾-inch wide. Pat dry with paper towels and set aside.

  3. Lay 1 phyllo sheet on a flat work surface. Liberally brush the top with olive oil, then place another phyllo sheet on top. Brush with more olive oil, then fold in half widthwise to make a layer of 4 sheets.

  4. Center 1 feta rectangle at the bottom of the phyllo, about ½-inch from the edge. Fold one end of the phyllo over the feta, then brush it with olive oil. Fold over the other end, adjusting the phyllo as needed to align with the feta. Brush the top with olive oil.

  5. Carefully roll the feta away from you until completely wrapped in the phyllo. Brush the entire surface with olive oil and place in the air fryer basket. Repeat the process with the remaining feta rectangles to make a total of 5 phyllo-wrapped feta rolls.

  6. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.

  7. Transfer the rolls to a serving platter and garnish with hot honey, pistachios, and sesame seeds.

  8. Enjoy hot!
