Kraft Heinz announced on February 21st their collaboration with musician Ed Sheeran on a new brand of hot sauce called Tingly Ted's!
Named after Ed’s childhood nickname, Tingly Ted's will come in two flavors: Tingly and Xtra Tingly. The idea for the collaboration comes from Sheeran's love of hot sauce and his previous collaborations involving Heinz.
Sheeran stated in the press release, "“I love sauces, that’s no secret. But the older I’ve got, the more I love and need spice with every single meal. I travel a lot, so having a bottle in my suitcase wherever I go that can spice up any and every meal seemed like a good idea. I knew I didn’t wanna do a watery hot sauce...I wanted to make a sauce that took the same pride of place as ketchup."
Sheeran and the Heinz team spent a year formulating the perfect flavors for the Tingly Ted's line, and decided on a tantalizing blend of red jalapeños and capsicum chilies. To preorder a bottle, visit www.tinglyteds.com. It is expected to roll out through 2023, but it is unclear exactly when the sauces will be available.
