Netflix Plans New Pop-Up Restaurant

Netflix Bites will feature food from chefs featured on the streaming service's shows, letting visitors binge in a whole new way!

The streaming giant announced on Wednesday that Netflix Bites will open on June 30. The restaurant will feature dishes from award-winning chefs from popular Netflix series: "Iron Chef," "Chef's Table," "Nailed It," and "Drink Masters."

Due to Netflix Bites' pop-up nature, the restaurant does require reservations, which are available on the Resy Los Angeles website. You can book a table any time between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., Monday through Sunday, or for brunch between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations require a deposit of $25 per person. Per the pop-up restaurant's calendar, Netflix Bites will only be open from June 30 through July 12. Unfortunately, the Netflix Bites menu has yet to be released, but it's not unreasonable to expect a wide range of dishes and cocktails considering the chef and mixologists lineup.

Dinner at Netflix Bites wouldn't be an authentic fan experience without offering something extra to binge! Although guests won't be able to meet the chefs personally, the restaurant promises to be immersive by serving carefully crafted dishes inspired by popular Netflix cooking shows.

However, since the announcement, the internet has jumped at the opportunity to cook up a storm on Twitter over the company's policy changes.

"Sadly you can't share a table there," read a trending Tweet with over 140,000 likes as of June 15, taking a jab at Netflix's password-sharing crackdown.

Netflix had recently announced plans to charge an additional $8 per month for users sharing their password with another person living outside their household, according to an article from the Insider on May 24.

"They cancel your meal after the appetizer," read another witty Tweet with over 60,000 likes, referencing the streaming platform's history of canceling TV shows too early.

Nevertheless, those interested in tasting the star chefs' unique dishes can reserve a spot at Netflix Bites online.
