There are so many tasty crackers out there to put on a cheeseboard it's almost impossible to have a favorite. Although, I am going to share with you my personal favorite top 3 brands of crackers right now, but let's be honest favorites change practically every week!
To begin with, we have deliciously simple Stonewall Kitchen Olive Oil Crackers. This brand carries so many amazing kinds of crackers with all sorts of flavors and spice/herb combinations, but I think sometimes going for something simple to really allow the cheeses on your board to stand out in taste is great! Stonewall Kitchen also carries a variety of rich tasting fruity spreads that will pair beautifully with these crackers on your cheeseboard.
Stonewall Kitchen started in 1991 with a small table at the local farmers' market, displaying a few dozen items. Now, they are proud to be one of the most awarded specialty food brands in the country, located in York, Maine!
Second up is the Rustic Bakery's Sweet Onion & Crème Fraiche Flatbread, genuinely a perfect choice when it comes to wanting to add some more flavor combos with your cheeses!
The sweet-savory combination of caramelized onions and crème fraiche, topped with sesame seeds is a wonderful experience for your taste buds. Light and crisp with a delicate flavor. The shape of the crisps allows for all sorts of toppings and creative arrangements as well! The Rustic Bakery began with passion and hard work to achieve the start of their business. With dedication they purchased a space in 2005 to turn into a café serving coffee and croissants along side their crackers. January of 2006, Rustic Bakery attended the annual Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, where industry buyers discovered the crackers and suddenly every cheese place in America wanted them!
Finally we finish up this hard to pick top 3 list of crackers with Lesley Stowe Raincoast Oat and Cranberry Crisps, pairs perfectly with a triple crème brie, prosciutto, or just as they are! Through their website I discovered a delicious recipe for an oat and cranberry crisp, with Canadian asiago and cranberry chutney, when I say it was delicious I really mean I devoured it! Baked in small batches, with the finest quality, visually appealing, familiar ingredients, Lesley Stowe's products elevate any entertaining occasion. Her true passion for making and sharing delicious food is the inspiration behind the original Lesley Stowe Raincoast Crisps.
